Dear Sir, Yesterday the veterens of your fine regiment were back on Omaha Beach, Normandy after a great reception from the people here in England. As an ex British soldier and a traveller to your beautiful and historic state of Virginia, I wish to extend my thanks and deepest respects to the brave men of the 29th Infantry Division (light) who suffered and died for liberty on Omaha Beach sixty years ago. Because of their valour and positive attitude of "Lets Go", Europe now lives in freedom. May God Bless them all and May God Bless America..... Steve Lythgoe, Liverpool, England.
