Recruiting & Retention ADSW opportunity available
There is an opportunity for a soldier to go on a short term ADSW tour.  We are looking for someone to help the company in it's retention and recruitment.  See the attached flyer for details and send an email to SFC Donald Williams.   Applicable information

TAG Memorandum

HHC Commanders Note:

Split Training Form Available

ALCON:

Split Training/ Excused absences must be requested in writing via the attached Split Training Certificate.

The RST certificate must be received by HHC 7 days in advance of drill unless there is a family emergency.  Drill schedules for FY 04 are available at HHC, 29th ID Headquarters on top of the distribution boxes.  Drill dates next month are 4 and 5 October.

Officers and enlisted who do not turn in the RST certificate 7 days in advance of drill and who are not accounted for either at formation or via the Chief's sign in roster will be coded either as appropriately as AWOL or Excused and will not be paid for those UTAs

I was trying to avoid this step but we are getting too many after the fact and last minute RST requests for reasons that could have been avoided with proper planning and needs to be brought back into check.   Work conflicts are acceptable a couple times a year, but month after month conflicts are getting out of hand.

Section Sergeant's that do not turn in attendance rosters or RST certificates in the time indicated will receive a U for that MUTA..

Soldiers who were not accounted for via attendance sheets, RST certificates, or prior coordination will be coded as Excused or AWOL for September Drill.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.  Thank you.

 V/R,

CPT Russell
